Ministry To Senior Adults

Fo5firstset2 2 of 152

The Senior Adults of First Baptist Church on Fifth have many opportunities to gather for fellowship, learning, and growing in our faith together. We invite you to join us as we offer the following:

  • fellowship luncheons

  • gatherings for special
    speakers to address relevant topics

  • day trips

  • a special Christmas trip

  • Our Singing Seniors Ministry

We are also intentional with our intergenerational activities and work with our youth and children’s ministries to coordinate opportunities. One of our thriving intergenerational ministries is our Prayer Partner Ministry. Our school-age children enrolled in our Young Musicians program are partnered with one of our senior adults each year to enter into a covenant to pray for each other throughout the school-year.  Bible Study Classes are also available and we encourage everyone to find a small group where you can learn and thrive as we all continue to grow in our faith.
